In October of 2006, John left US99 to tackle a new challenge as a talk show host when he joined AM 560 WIND.
John partnered with Cisco Cotto (formerly of WLS AM89) to launch a brand new morning show on the station.
Each morning, John and Cisco talk the issues that affect Chicago. If it’s a story seen on the front page or an experience from real life it will be discussed on the show. John and Cisco take on anything and everything that Chicagoans are talking about. More than just soundbite radio. John and Cisco welcome the guests and experts to add to the real stories happening in and around Chicagoland.
Recent guests on the show have included: Lt Gov Pat Quinn, Bill O’Reily, Fred Barnes, Joe The Plumber, Mark Styne, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Speakers of the House Newt Gingrich and Dennis Hastert, Sen. Dick Durbin, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., Rep. Peter Roskam, Pat Buchanan, Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, Lt. Col. Oliver North, Dick Morris, Bob Novak, and former Illinois Gov. Jim Edgar.
