VIDEO: Big John Howell on US99
This video is from the 1990’s when John hosted Afternoon Drive on US99 WUSN/Chicago. He held down PM Drive shift from October 1989 to December 2000 when he moved to Mornings. This show featured a lot of recorded phone calls and you’ll also see producer Matt Weintraub. Matt contributed to the show in a variety of roles including helping with parody tunes. You’ll hear a listener calling in about seeing John’s band at the Country Thunder festival which was one of the highlights of every summer.
