Rockin’ for the Troops 2008
John had the chance to hang out with some of Chicago’s best radio talent this past July at Rockin’ for the Troops 2008 at Cantigny Park in Wheaton.
He was joined by his current partner Cisco Cotto, as well as his former partner at US99 Ramblin’ Ray. He got to hang out with the guys from WLS-FM — Brant Miller (also from NBC5), Greg Brown, and the legendary Dick Biondi.
The event raised money for Operation Support Our Troops Illinois. Nearly 10,000 people came out to support this worthwhile cause that exists solely to support troops deployed around the world in defense of our freedom.
